What a great thing to do....writing to your mother. I continue to have many conversations with my Mom (who will have been gone 3 years in October) and only wish I could hear her answers. You inspire me to do the same thing for my grandchildren.

I only met Muz once, I think it was at a ladies candlelight remembence but she struck me as a very intelligent, spiritual and caring woman. I love reading your letters to her. Thank you for sharing them with us.

I think you look like your mother, Greg. Yes? No? I see a lot of similarities.

Another good letter to Muz. How on earth did she get such a nickname? Please share that with us.

As for me - it's about 5:30 p.m. Friday evening and I've still not been able to finish a blog post for today about my own mom's philosophy of life at 87. I'm totally bummed out. Tom is not yet home, either, and I have the hiccups! What a predicament to be in on a Friday evening in June.

Cheers & blessings to you all today! Dee

P. S. I read Terry Rush's blog post. He's so right. I concur with what he had to say.

Has it been four years? Wow, I really miss Muz's semi annual visits to Long Beach and the chances we had to visit. Muz always gave me hope for myself in that she showed me that people can always learn, develop, even change their minds about pretty important things and yet still be stable in relationships. She was a great lady and it was a blessing to have known her and called her my friend.

Another wonderful letter, bro. I'm sure you've seen those inane commercials that Microsoft has done where some girl goes out to buy a laptop and gets some $973 piece of pc junk and also the commercial where little kids are doing things on PeeCees. I think Apple could use your Jackson to show the world the truth of ease of use of a device!
Peace.

I love your letters to you mom. You probably are touching a lot of mom’s hearts out there who are reading these letters. Your love for her, your children and grandbabies is so very evident.

If I ever get an iPhone I will send it out for your grandson to program for me. Kids are so amazing these days with electronics.

I am still laughing over the last paragraph. I must have a morbid sense of humor. I know I would have had similar thoughts on a hot and humid day. I do not deal well with heat.

Thanks again for yesterday, it's so nice to be encouraged!
