Now, I'm wondering where (make that "from whom") Jackson might have inherited his picky-ness about semantics. I mean, I just cannot imagine anyone being so particular about spelling, grammar and semantics, you know? Does that ring a bell with anyone YOU possibly know, Greg?

I mean, surely (and don't call me Shirley), SOMEONE near and dear to the boy must have influenced his thinking on correctness and use of the language. Someone who takes him frequently for ice cream cones at McD's. Someone living nearby, perhaps, who has an obsession with guitars and drums and other very loud instruments. Someone (again) "with whom" Jackson likes to go to "Depot's house."

Ahhhhhh, yes. It occurs to me that YOU might be the culpable party. My semantics and grammar nemesis. (And spelling one, too, from time to time.)

Just a chip off the old block(head).

But, somehow in Jackson, 3 years, minus one week, it seems a whole lot "cuter," than in yourself. That's my totally UNBIASED opinion of the day, in case anyone is interested. Probably not, so I guess I'll go find something more productive to do with myself than sitting here aggravating you, Greg. So, PLEASE - excuse me.

Oh, I'm so, so sorry. Just plain . . .

"Excuse me."

Dee

P.S. Loved your cartoon by the way!

[It's a mystery to all of us.]

Not too late to catch a flight to camp! We're off and running with 61 campers and 27 staff. Wish you were here.
Peace.

[Though it's nice to be wanted and I enjoyed our years together at camp, I'm glad to have that part of my life behind me. Hope you have a good week and if you have any baptisms, you might want to have it monitored ... just to make sure. I know someone over in Rockledge who will do a good job of that for you!]
