Looks good to be. Is there a problem?

[I think it may be that white line / overspray down the middle or across the bottom. Hardly worthy of a news story though.]

As one who often thinks faster than I type, I have been known to transpose a letter or two in my time, however I think you have missed the new ad campaign to make education more attractive. The markings should read “sh …. cool.” Students know that they are now entering such an awesome place that they will be rendered speechless … or else the dummy just switched the letters.

[Bro, we've had far too many discussions about the educational system to think they could come up with a new ad campaign that cool. I often do some editing on the responses to correct spelling, but don't tell anyone.]

Where IS everybody this morning, Greg?

Where did that happen, Alabama?! I say that because I posted a link on FB last night showing that the National Champions Alabama football team/management managed to misspell Mississippi on their football tickets between Alabama and “Mississipi” State!! You Alabamer guys shore don’t know much ’bout that spellin’ thang, do y’all?

    (Here’s the link: http://www.abc3340.com/Global/story.asp?S=12970864)

Y’all have a good day, now, hear?! Dee

[This happened in North Carolina. You gotta admit, that state is easy to misspell, but a university should get it right!]

Perhaps the person who painted it needs to enroll in ‘shcool’. :)

[Interestingly, there was a sign on the side of the road that proclaimed: SCHOOL. All he had to do was copy the word from the sign!]

Janice – The guy is probably a product of one of our more illustrious schools in this country, graduating top of his class, maybe even a Ph.D. just out of a job and taking whatever work he can get. That’s about the level of our educational system in this country. If anyone has any doubt, all they have to do is watch Jay Leno when he goes out to talk with America on “Jay Walking.” It’s unbelievable.

[I would agree that the present state of education in our country is rather pathetic.]

Saw a similar thing when I lived in Arkansas – they put in a turn lane and labeled it “Right Trun Only” – the next day they blacked out the letters and started over.
Yeah, I know. Arkansas – at least they used all the right letters.

[I had to read this twice before I noticed anything wrong.]
